I’m a British-Italian award-winning Creative Director, PhD candidate and environmental activist. With 20 years of experience leading creative teams in advertising, tech, in the years, I have transitioned my practice towards environmentalism and sustainability.
As a professional, I have been working with global NGOs such as Greenpeace, WWF, RSPO and the Packard Foundation on creative campaigns and theory of change projects. Before my transition towards sustainability, I have worked with global brands like Wella, Unilever, Reckitt Benckiser, L’Oreal and Sony to name a few. I have particularly loved working in the videogame and animation industry with Ubisoft, Bandai Namco, King, Koch Media, Pokemon and Wooga, ranging from AAA games to mobile and indie productions.
The work with NGOs and games inspired me to go back to academia and I am now a dual PhD candidate in HCII at Carnegie Mellon and the University of Lisbon. My research sits at the intersection of climate change communications, gender studies, sustainable design and technology, with particular attention to the Seas and embodiment.
My practice revolves around creative direction, so managing, directing and mentoring creative teams, stirring ideas and elevating them. My background is in visual design, ranging from branding, illustration and UX/UI. Over the years, my work has turned to become more conceptual, revolving around campaign ideas, scriptwriting and strategy.
I have won some awards during my career, including the Webbies, DMAs and Cannes Lions nominations. I had the pleasure of taking part in an environmental co-design event for TEDXBrighton.
