I’m a British-Italian award-winning Creative Director, doctoral researcher and environmental campaigner. With 20 years of experience leading creative teams in advertising, tech, in the years, I have transitioned my practice towards environmentalism and sustainability.
My research investigates our entangled relationship with the ocean, and how that can help us lead sustainable behaviours. I use ethnographies and photography as a way to reflect on hydrocommons and how we are all “bodies of water”, and I also design playful experiences that foster ocean stewardship.
In my creative direction and design practice, I have been working with global NGOs such as Greenpeace, WWF, RSPO and the Packard Foundation on creative campaigns and theory of change projects. Before my transition towards sustainability, I have worked with global brands like Wella, Unilever, Reckitt Benckiser, L’Oreal and Sony to name a few. I have particularly loved working in the videogame and animation industry with Ubisoft, Bandai Namco, King, Koch Media, Pokemon and Wooga, ranging from AAA games to mobile and indie productions.
I am passionate about teaching, which I find very connected to my experience mentoring creative teams. My background is in visual design, ranging from branding, illustration and UX/UI. Over the years, my work has turned to become more conceptual, revolving around campaign ideas, scriptwriting and strategy.
I have won some awards during my career, including the Webbies, DMAs and Cannes Lions nominations. I had the pleasure of taking part in an environmental co-design event for TEDXBrighton.
